I love diving into a company’s financials and operations to discover what is often hiding in plain sight; weaknesses, obstacles, strengths and opportunties.
“As your fractional CFO I can help you navigate the unknown so your business stays on course and can withstand whatever obstacles encountered.”
My career which spans over 40 years in finance, accounting and operations began in 1979 when I enlisted in the U.S. Navy and became an Aviation Storekeeper. I was responsible for managing inventory items essential for naval aviation operations. I was first stationed at NAS Miramar with squadron VC-7 NAS and then in 1981 transferred to NAF Atsugi Japan Supply Support Center.
Enlisting in the Navy was the best decision I ever made, as I learned how to take risks, learn by doing, dive into tasks, and always with a focus on how to improve results.
I did not take the typical path to becoming a CFO as after the Navy
I worked in jobs where I unloaded semi-trucks, managed a warehouse, learned to read blueprints for construction bids, created bookkeeping systems, navigated a company through an intense IRS audit, became a controller and even worked in a bean company.

I can literally deliver and count the beans!
